Liss Forest Nursery Ltd has, since 1971 been actively working to source and raise a varied range of trees, shrubs and herbaceous plants to offer to plant centres and Garden Centres throughout the UK, and latterly into global markets.
Many propagation techniques are utilised to achieve the product mix now offered weekly to retail outlets, including micro-propagation, grafting, cuttings and seed. Several successful garden plants have been raised at the nursery including, Choisya ternata 'Sundance', Spiraea japonica 'Golden Princess', Ceratostigma willmottianum 'Forest Blue' and Caryopteris clandonensis 'First Choice'.
Other new promotions from Liss Forest Nursery Ltd include: Vinca minor 'Illumination', Lonicera tragophylla 'Pharo's Trumpet', Clematis chiisanensis 'Lemon Bells', Abelia grandiflora 'Sunrise', Helleborus argutifolius Silver Lace, Trachelospermum asiaticum 'Golden Memories' and Choisya 'Goldfingers'.
Liss Forest Nursery Ltd markets approximately 500,000 plants per annum.
